The genuine part was $3800 plus GST and 6 weeks from Japan.

This search took just under 2 hours over a week (search cost of $190). 

The customer received the aftermarket part in just 3 weeks and saved $2722 and was obviously pretty happy with the result.

We charged a search fee for the item in this case because of the time it took to search for it and the fact it was under a thousand dollars.  This was discussed with the customer through the process.

This was a win on the lead time and the price.
